The Democrat from Rye will meet local residents along with county Board of Legislators Minority Leader John Testa, a Republican from Peekskill, for a bipartisan "coffee and conversation" at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Earlier on Saturday, state Sen. Terrence Murphy, a Republican from Yorktown, plans to meet veterans during a pancake breakfast in Thornwood.
Coffee and snacks are on George and John's tab during the Town Hall-style gathering at The Factoria at Charles Point, 5 John Walsh Blvd. in Peekskill (zip code 10566 if you need it for the GPS).
As a former state Senator and Assemblyman, Latimer was known to hold weekend "coffee and conversation" meetings in his legislative district, typically with other elected Democrats.
The free pancake breakfast for veterans and a guest is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Mount Pleasant Community Center, 125 Lozza Drive in Thornwood.
Murphy is up for re-election on Nov. 6. His challenger is Democrat Peter Harckham.
